Senior Marketing & Events Executive - £40,000 to £50,000 + Bonus & Benefits - Financial Services - South West Region
  
Please note that our client is considering candidates based in either Winchester, Exeter, Cheltenham, or Bournemouth. All offices are located in the city centre, and you would be required to attend the office twice a week.
  
We are partnered with an established financial services firm looking to recruit a Senior Marketing & Events Executive based in the South West region.
  
This role offers broad exposure across marketing and events, combining commercially driven event delivery with wider strategic and operational marketing activity. You will work closely with senior stakeholders in a collaborative, commercially focused environment, playing a key role in strengthening brand presence, client engagement, and business growth across the regions.
  
The Senior Marketing & Events Executive will:
  
  • Lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of a comprehensive programme of client, partner and internal events.
  • Manage full end-to-end event logistics, including venue sourcing, supplier management, budgets, timelines, production, delegate management and on-site delivery. These are client experiences such as gala dinners, roundtables, etc.
  • Develop commercially driven event strategies that support client acquisition, retention and revenue growth.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to design and deliver events aligned to wider business objectives.
  • Support the delivery of marketing activity across the business, helping to strengthen client engagement and brand presence.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of campaigns that support business growth.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure marketing and events activity is aligned with wider business objectives.
  • Take a hands-on approach to planning and executing marketing and events initiatives.
  • Support integrated marketing campaigns across digital, content, client communications and brand activity.
  • Measure and report on marketing and event performance, ensuring ROI, effectiveness and commercial impact.
  
Required skills and experience:
  
  • Proven experience in a customer-focused marketing role with significant responsibility for events delivery, ideally within financial or professional services.
  • Strong experience managing full event logistics from concept to delivery.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to use marketing and events as growth and relationship-building channels.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • A hands-on mindset with the ability to balance execution with forward planning.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
